FREEDOM FARMS COCO PERLITE 50/50 Growing Medium – 30L

Freedom Farms Coco Perlite 50/50 Growing Medium is a very versatile soilless substrate that works excellent for hydroponic growing indoors and outdoors. Coco-perlite 50/50 has high water retention and with the added perlite making it airy and allows for a healthy, more developed root zone.

Coco-perlite 50/50 is a more suited and preferred growing medium for hotter environments allowing for more frequent watering.

The Coco coir is buffered and charged with natural amendments. The high Calcium content of Freedom Farms amendments maintains the pH in the 6.5-6.8 range and will prevent a decrease in pH (substrate acidification) resulting from fertilizer application or watering’s at a low pH. The soil pH is therefore buffered against decreasing pH.

Using this mix alone without the addition of liquid fertilizers is not recommended. Consider using a liquid nutrient like the GHE range or Umya range.
